The
Staff...
All the staff at Grace
Lutheran Child Development Center is dedicated to the Christian nurturing,
teaching and caring for the children entrusted to our Center. They are
also eager to provide the best possible communication and service to our
families at Grace CDC. Staff participates in professional development
workshops and continuing education classes on a regular basis. The staff
is required to attend monthly Child Development Center meetings and receive
training in CPR and first aid.
Director
Responsible for the daily management and operations of the total program,
public relations and communication with parents, the church and the community.
The director is responsible to Grace Lutheran Church and its governing
Board of Education.
Receptionist
Under the supervision of the director, the receptionist keeps an organized
office and acts as a liaison between the Center, students, families, staff,
visitors an the community.
Food
Service Staff
Under the supervision of the director, the cook(s) plan menus, prepare
the food and organize the food service program for children and staff.
Office
and Payroll Manager
Assists the director in program administration. Deals with parent accounts,
makes deposits and notifies the director of past due accounts.
Preschool
Teacher
Responsible for the day to day planning of the classroom curriculum of
developmentally appropriate activities for the preschool children ages
three through five. There is a morning class and an afternoon class of
20 children each. The AM class meets from 8:30-11:15 and is served AM
Snack. The PM class meets from 12:00-2:45 and is served lunch.
Childcare
Teacher
Responsible, certified primary caregivers to specific children within
their rooms. Teachers also serve as primary contact for these children's
parents. However, the children will have contact and establish relationships
with all the staff and other children in the Center.
Preschool/Childcare
Aide
Supervised by the teaching staff, the aides provide childcare support
and assistance for the staff in the Christian caring of children at the
Center.
Custodian
Responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, hygienic and presentable
environment with regards to the needs of each child, the families and
our Center's staff.
Our staff
is dedicated to the mission of serving the Lord through the caring of
children and their families. We thank our families for giving us the opportunity
to help them in the task of providing quality education and care to the
